To all signatory employers performing work in the 46 Northern California Counties: The Carpenter Agreement provides four Wage Rates based upon the Counties in which the work is performed.

Area 1: Counties of: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma

Area 2: Counties of: Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz

Area 3: Counties of: Sacramento, Yolo, San Joaquin, Western Placer* and Western El Dorado*

Area 4: Counties of: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, Eastern El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Madera, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Nevada, Eastern Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne and Yuba

*Western Placer County includes territory west of and including Highway 49.

Stocker-Scrapper receives Health and Welfare, $1.80 Pension, Vacation, Vacation/Holiday/Sick Leave Admin. and Work Fee contributions only. Senior Stocker-Scrapper receives Health and Welfare, Annuity, $3.48 Pension, Vacation, Vacation/Holiday/Sick Leave Admin. and Work Fee contributions only.

Foreman Rate: 10% per hour above applicable Journeyman rate
General Foreman Rate: 20% per hour above applicable Journeyman rate

The company-wide ratio of employees shall be based on increments of eight (8) employees. For every eight (8) employees, the employer shall employ: One (1) Master Installer, Two (2) Lead Installers and Five (5) Installers.

An individual employer who is entitled to employ apprentices may employ not more than one (1) apprentice for the first three (3) installers (Master, Lead or Installer) regularly employed by him/her and not more than one (1) additional apprentice for each five (5) additional installers employed by him/her. The first apprentice may not be employed until at least three (3) installers are regularly employed by the individual employer. Any individual employer employing five (5) installers shall, while employing five (5) installers, also employ at least one (1) apprentice. For each additional five (5) installers then in his/her employ, he/she shall employ at least one (1) additional apprentice.

*Fringes for Production Worker: H&W, PEN-PW, VAC, WF, ANN-PW, VHSLA, N.C.M.C.I.C.A.F.

Each individual employer is entitled to hire one (1) Production Worker and additional Production Workers may be hired so long as the number of Production Workers in an individual employer’s shop does not exceed a ratio of one (1) Production Worker to five (5) Cabinetmakers (Journeymen and Apprentices).

First six (6) month period through fourth six (6) month period: H&W, WF, APPR/EBF, VAC, VHSLA, N.C.M.C.I.C.A.F.

Fifth six (6) month period through eighth six (6) month period: All Fringes
